Ayanna is an activist, politician and a defender. Ayanna Pressley is the Massachusetts woman of color who was elected for the U.S. House of Representatives on the 6th of November, 2018, became the Commonwealth's first elected person of color. Ayanna believes that those closest to suffering should be the closest to power and that a diversity of opinions in the political system is crucial to crafting more effective public policy.
